Award Winning Grouchy Puppy

Kreativ-blogger6

We are so honored to get this award from such a great guy who has one of the coolest names ever, D'Artagnan Rumblepurr!  I can't believe my daily life is of interest to anyone or that you really like me and believe that I am not so grouchy.  Thank you and I won't let you down!  We just wish you and your blog, Rumble-bum was in California rather than NZ.

So that I do justice to your swashbuckling honor, here are the rules of this award:

  1. Copy and paste the Kreativ Blogger picture onto your blog.
  2. Thank the person who gave you the award and post a link to their blog.
  3. Write 7 things about yourself we do not know.
  4. Choose 7 other bloggers to award.
  5. Links to those 7 other bloggers.
  6. Notify your 7 bloggers.
Grouchy Puppy Facts
  • When my female boiled edamame for the first time at home - edamame are fancy soy beans served in Japanese restaurants - and one fell on the floor, I ate it! And I loved it! She laughed and laughed at me because I am not the most petite dog but I ate the tiny green bean with all the grace of the lady I am.
  • I may love biting the ocean water and running the beach, but I really really dislike touching my bum to wet ground to pee. Especially in the morning! This is one reason why I like to lift my leg, sort of, like a boy.

  • Sometimes when I pass gas, it sounds like a baby elephant. And when I toot, my head shoots around to look at my own butt as if an alien just flew out of it.

  • My pack loves me so much that they paid extra money to put in real wood floors rather than less expensive engineered wood floors originally suggested by others. They did this lovely act because real wood floor can be sanded and refinished in the future, and they knew that my big nail scratches that would eventually happen to the new floor could get buffed out. That is love and acceptance of me.

  • You may not know that my puppyhood included poor nutrition and contributed to my poor dental health. I have a big smile after a walk but that smile includes 8 missing teeth pulled a year ago and 3 root canals two years before that. The dentist says my enamel flakes when they clean my teeth.

  • My grouchy puppy name is partly so that strangers and children will not be so scared of me when they first see me or meet me when I am out walking. How can you be scared of a grouchy puppy?

  • Some people have more patience with little dogs. They assume my pushing close to get a hug is my being aggressive and bad, but they let a little dog jump on them and get dirt on their pants. My feelings get hurt from people who don't understand me or my nature. I mean well.
