From creative genius Tim Burton (“Alice in Wonderland,” The Nightmare Before Christmas”) comes “Frankenweenie,” a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.
A stop-motion animated film, “Frankenweenie” was filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D. The talented voice cast includes: Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, Robert Capron, Conchata Ferrell and Winona Ryder.
Presented by Disney, “Frankenweenie” is directed by Tim Burton, produced by Tim Burton and Allison Abbate, from a screenplay by John August, based on a screenplay by Lenny Ripps, based on an original idea by Tim Burton.
“Frankenweenie” releases in U.S. theaters on October 5, 2012.
Halloween is on its way, and you know what that means...dogs in costumes. I am a lucky girl, because my people give me treats without this sort of performance. As a big Shepherd-Husky blend, I was pretty effective at setting their expectations early in our relationship. BOL
Lots of cuddles and kisses = my letting them take my photo. Putting hats on me = grrrrs.
Here are the best three dog costumes I've seen in a long time! They are cute, comfortable looking, and stylish!
It's the San Francisco SPCA Homecoming Adoptathon! September 14-16, 2012. Free drinks, free food, and free adoptions! I came from the SF/SPCA and have only the best stories to tell. Ask my people too, they would never buy another dog..
...okay they would pay the adoption fees again. What, you don't think I was free do you? BOL
